Description
This Russian Imperial Stout has this name because when the Russian Royal Family wanted to take the Stout beers that they liked so much to their country, they realized that during the journey through the Baltic Sea the drink would freeze and lose its properties. To solve this, this variant of the English Stout was created but with a higher alcohol content, so it does not freeze so easily:
- Dark black color.
- Intense aromas and flavors of chocolate and coffee complemented by sweet nuances of caramel malts. Slight final bitterness with citric nuances.
- Pairs well with intense desserts of dark chocolate, cinnamon, etc.
