Pyrenees and Cierzo Valhalla Imperial Baltic Porter 33cl

The gates of Valhalla open to receive the fiercest warriors, who toast with Odin with this dark, intense and light-bodied beer. Prepared together with Cierzo Brewing, 8 types of malt and bottom fermentation yeast have been used. Nice dark colour. On the nose, subtle aromas of smoked malts that are also reflected on the palate.

Nice dark color. Very good foam retention.
On the nose, subtle aromas of smoked malts that are also reflected in the mouth.
Pairs well with smoked cheeses, peanut butter toast, apple pie or English meatloaf.

Una Imp. Baltic Porter un pelín "pesada"

Soy fiel seguidora de todas las Porter y sus primas Baltic e Imperial Baltic, y las disfruto y saboreo con mucho gusto. Pero esta se me ha hecho un pelín larga y "cansina" en el paladar. Había alguna nota en ella que me descuadraba y le daba un dulzor chirriante, nada agradable, con regusto pesado y persistente. No sé si sea el sabor que buscaban, o si el lote haya salido regular, pero no he acabado muy convencida. No creo que repita.
