Sweet taste is one of the basic tastes we know, even thoughits perception changes according to each culture. In general, it is associated with the presence of artificially or naturally added sugars, such as the sweetness present in fruits. LProducts with high content of carbohydrates, glucose and glycogen also contain sugar.

Malt, one of the 4 basic ingredients of beer, is one of the components responsible for ooffering sweetness to beer, both on the nose and on the palate: nuances of bread and cookies, chocolate, caramel, honey or toffee for example.
