Scone Barrel Aged Barley Wine 33cl

LIMITED EDITION: this exclusive edition has been launched after spending several months in Pedro Ximenez barrels, leaving a marked flavor, hints of wood:

• Shiny dark color, dark red in tone with reddish, burgundy highlights. Beige foam, dense and compact with great retention.
• First notes of toffee, banana and background chocolate, dried fruit, and herbal notes.
• Initiation in the mouth of notes of sherry from the barrels where we perceive sweet notes of raisins. As it tempers, it evolves towards liquorous notes reminiscent of Whisky. Liquor aftertaste.
• Even with 10.5º of alcohol, the beer is easy to drink. It does not invite long drinks, but it does require constant short drinks. The flavor fills the whole mouth, the round note, without sharp notes. It maintains a good balance although it leans more towards the side of malts and sweet tones. The evolution as it tempers, takes you from the fresh tones of the hops, to the raisins, to finish off with notes of Liquor.
• It pairs well on its own if you want because it is so tasty that you don't need anything else, but if you want to accompany it with something, a blue cheese is perfect, be it Roquefort, Cabrales, etc. With desserts it is a safe choice, rice pudding, cake with walnuts, cheese tarte...
