To pair red meat with craft beer we have to take into account that meats such as beef, pork, bull, beef, poultry (duck and goose), goat, lamb, are foods with intense flavors. Therefore, technically for pairing they pair well with beers that are equally strong.
PS: of course it's possible to eat barbecue churrasco with a pilsen or a wheat beer, for example, but its flavor will probably be overshadowed by the one with the meat.
Despite being very different from each other, some of the styles of craft beer that we recommend are:
Porter: due to the roasting of the malt, its flavor is slightly reminiscent of bread, it complements well with sirloin steaks and meats that are done but not burnt .
Brown Ale: it has a balanced flavor between the bitterness of the hops and the sweetness of the malt, it combines well with beef.
Double IPA :its intense bitterness fits well with fatty meats, typical of barbecues.
