Refreshing, with a smooth bitter taste and aromas that vary from cloves, orange or caramel: wheat beers are versatile and very tasty. In general they are not filtered, which is why they have a cloudy appearance, but when they are filtered we can appreciate their brightness. Its color varies from strong yellow to gold, but its foam is always generous and very white.
Wheat beers can be divided into four types: Weissbier (white beer), Witbier (known for carrying orange and coriander seeds), Rye Beer (ifrye is used to add a strong cereal flavor) and Dark Wheat Beer (brewed with roasted malts, creating a complex flavor and dark color) .
Fish, prawns, oysters or king prawns are foods that can be paired well with wheat beers because they have a milder flavor and thus one flavor does not overshadow the other. Remember: the lighter the flavor of a meal, the better to pair with this type of beers, but we also understand that this is something very particular and what matters is that you always enjoy good beers!
So enjoy this selection that I have prepared for you:
