Brown Ales have a long tradition in the UK. Its origin dates back to the beginning of the 18th century, in England, where it appears in different versions but with one characteristic in common: the use of dark malt (Brown Malt) as the base of the recipe. Over time it has evolved into a wide range of beers that allows each brewer to interpret their own version of it. Cervezas Abadía wanted to make a different, exclusive beer with the character of the authentic.
