Description
A new beer from the Farmhouse Espiga project, squeezing the potential of its land and adjacent areas with this new beer where the protagonists are the barrels, the yeasts and the echo oranges from its neighbors in Valencia:
- Orange is my new love is a blender of a sour juice conditioned with oranges where a first lactic fermentation was carried out to obtain the desired acidity. Then they added their own house yeast to make the alcoholic fermentation and also juice squeezed from organic oranges to get the flavors of freshly squeezed orange.
- The other part of the blender is a Farmhouse must where there was spontaneous fermentation of wild yeasts from the environment to get the funky notes of the farmhouse. In this must they added Cascade hops from Girona.
- The result is a 7 degree beer with an orange color accompanied by a light carbonation with a fine bubble that makes it very pleasant on the palate.
- Funky aroma notes from spontaneous fermentation predominate, notes of wood and often we find notes of freshly squeezed orange.
- Despite its high complexity, it is a light and easy-to-drink beer, ideal for enjoying an aperitif on a hot day.
- Combines well with terrace appetizers, white fish, shellfish, salads...
