Tuna, cod, hake and salmon are some of the many fish present in the Mediterranean diet and eaten in so many different ways. Despite their different flavors, their pairing with beer is quite simple because, having a mild flavor, they have an easy combination through similarity, that is, accompanying them with also mild beers:
Berliner Weisse: or "Berlin white beer", has a frothy-like flavor. Its fermentation with high fermentation yeasts with the addition of Lactobacillus, generates a slight acidity and astringency. Perfect pairing with grilled fish.
Saison: a complete style, combining fruity (usually citrus like oranges or lemons) and spicy flavors. Amoderate bitterness, light acidity and a dry finish, pairs well with sardines.
Witbier: composed of barley and wheat malts, in addition to normally carrying coriander seeds and orange peel. This style has a more citric, light and refreshing flavor. Combine with sushi, raw fish or simply sealed as a tataki.
