A beer brewed to celebrate the one year anniversary of Ricote Valley Brewery. Here we have a very fresh, low-proof Black IPA:
- A bold fusion of darkness and vivacious hops, deep black color and aromas unfold with a dance of pine and citrus, emerging from the toasty darkness of the malts. Subtle notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee come together in this olfactory symphony.
- In the mouth, the roasted malt offers nuances of chocolate and coffee that are intertwined with the resinous and citric bitterness of the hops. A delicate balance is found between dark flavors and hoppy vibrancy, creating a sensory journey with every sip.
- Pairs well with Cheddar Cheeseburger and Caramelized Onions, as the intensity and bitterness of this Black IPA can balance out the rich flavors of a burger, while the toasty and brown undertones of the beer could complement the caramelized onions..
