Description
Winery beer made just like vintage wines only once a year and at harvest time. Five malts, a hop of English origin, a lot of care and no additives, colorings or preservatives. It usually contains sediments since it is not filtered, it ferments in the bottle and it is not pasteurized.
Fermented at cellar temperature and later matured in oak casks previously aged with oloroso sherry wine for six months, where upon coming into contact with the wine yeasts it undergoes a second subtle fermentation. Natural carbonation by third fermentation in the bottle resting in cages in the cellar for another six months.
Copper-brown in appearance, crystalline, translucent but dark, with beige-yellowish foam:
- Intense, liqueur aroma, very ripe fruit.
- Dry in the mouth, not very bitter, malty and alcoholic, with notes of wood, sweet flavor, burnt caramel, raisins, figs and chocolate. Long and dry finish.
- Pairs well with Crème Brulée, Christmas dinner, New Year's Eve and special gatherings.
