Description
In general, Imperial Stout beers are characterized by being black and with a high alcoholic volume. They have a large load of malt that provides a wide range of intense flavors that take us from raisins to roasted ones, among which chocolate and coffee stand out. Its palate is warm and silky, full of nuances. They are beers to be enjoyed without haste. Scone's proposal in particular is:
- Shiny dark black, with abundant formation of toffee-colored foam and medium/high retention.
- On the nose, roasted on the nose, as it tempers, notes of liquor, biscuit, nuts, and balsamic background emerge.
- In the mouth the first contact maintains the same structure as in the nose: roasted, liqueur/brandy, biscuit, dried fruit, raisins. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, toffee, caramel.
- Pairs well with red meat stews, chocolate desserts or even powerful blue cheese.
