Belgian Blonde Ale is a variation of the Strong Belgian Ale category, which generally contains pale, well-attenuated, balanced, and bitter ales. Often more yeast present than malt flavors, with generally higher alcohol (although there is variety within styles). Specifically the Blond Ales are of moderate strength and have a subtle complexity of fruity and spicy Belgian yeast, slightly sweet malt flavor and a dry finish. Light golden color (usually very light), large, dense, creamy-white to off-white head. Light earthy or spicy hop aroma, along with a slight grainy-sweet malt character. Mild flavor, but finishes medium-dry to dry with a little softness. Medium body.
