Description
Doppelbocks originate from Munich. The monks of San Francisco de Paula began to make them and considered them as liquid bread, since the old versions were denser.
Doppelbock means double strong, since the image of the billy goat (bock in German) is an icon of strength:
- Copper amber color and dense off-white foam Intense malt aromas.
- It pairs well with roast duck or pork or with cakes (chocolate, black forest or nuts).
